Parking Regulations

Permit Parking Only
Parking regulations are enforced year-round, even when classes are not in session.

Weekend Parking Rules
Parking in any legal, non-reserved space is FREE from 4 p.m. on Friday through 6 a.m. on Monday.

Dempsey Hall

Dempsey Hall

Most of the administrative offices on campus are located in Dempsey Hall, including the Offices of the Chancellor, Administrative Services, Human Resources, Dean of Students, Veterans Affairs and the IT Help Desk.

Harrington Hall

Harrington Hall

The Geology Department is located in Harrington Hall, which was built in 1913. The building contains labs with an x-ray diffractometer and hundreds of soil and rock samples.

Halsey Science Center

Halsey Science Center

Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Computer Science, Medical Technology and Geography are all housed in the Halsey Science Center.

Buckstaff Planetarium

Buckstaff Planetarium

The Buckstaff Planetarium is accessible to students, faculty and the community. The Planetarium serves as an astronomy and space science education resource center that was named after an Oshkosh Astronomer, Ralph Buckstaff.

Arts and Communication Center

Arts & Communication Building

The Arts and Communication Center consists of two buildings: the West building and the North-South building. The Fredric March Theatre is located in the West building, while the departments of Communications, Art, Music, Radio-Television-Film, Anthropology and Religious Studies are located in the North-South building.

The Fredric March Theatre holds four main stage productions each year and traveling professional shows. There is also an experimental theatre that has several student-directed studio productions each year.

Swart Hall

Swart Hall

The Mathematics Department is located in Swart Hall, which was built in 1927. It is also known as the Rose C. Swart Training School.

Oviatt House

Oviatt House

The Oviatt House was built in 1883 and was the living quarters of the Chancellor until 1990 when it became home to the UW Oshkosh Foundation. The Office of Sustainability and the University Honors Program offices are now located here.

Clow Social Science Center/Nursing Education Building

Clow Social Science Center/Nursing Education

The Clow Social Science Center and the Nursing Education Building are connected to each other. Three of the colleges on campus are located here: the College of Nursing, the College of Education and Human Services and the College of Letters and Science.

Sage Hall

Sage Hall

Sage Hall is the newest academic building on the UWO campus and opened to students and faculty in fall of 2011. The College of Business and many departments that belong to the College of Letters and Science are housed here. This immaculate building contains faculty offices, lecture halls, state-of-the-art classrooms and space for meetings and conferences.

Radford Hall has the Student Health Center and the English Department within its quarters.

Pollock House

Pollock House

The Pollock House was built in the 1920s and houses the University Studies Program.

Kolf Sports Center

Kolf Sports Center

Many athletic events are held at the Kolf Sports Center. The athletic director, intramural athletics and athletic coaches’ offices are all inside Kolf. The fall and spring commencement ceremonies are also held at Kolf.

Behind the Kolf Sports Center (across the Fox River) is the Oshkosh Sports Complex, in which Titan Stadium which is the third largest stadium in Wisconsin. Football, baseball, soccer and track events are all held at the Oshkosh Sports Complex.

This building is primarily for students and is offered as a FREE place for exercise and wellness activities.

Blackhawk Commons

Blackhawk Commons

Blackhawk Commons contains the cafeteria for students and offers buffet-style dining. The University Dining Offices, Parking Services and Sodexo are also located within Blackhawk Commons.

Gruenhagen Conference Center

The Gruenhagen Conference Center (GCC) is one of two conference centers on campus. GCC also offers overnight accommodations.

The Alumni Welcome & Conference Center is one of two conference centers on campus. The center was built in 2013 and houses the UW Oshkosh Foundation, Alumni Relations and the Business Success Center.

The Campus Center for Equity and Diversity was formerly known as the Newman Center. The University Women’s Center, LGBTQ Resource Center and Academic Support of Inclusive Excellence currently resides within.

The Student Success Center contains many academic services, such as the Undergraduate Advising Resource Center (UARC), Career Services, Tutoring and the Counseling Center.

Albee Hall

Albee Hall houses a swimming pool, basketball and racquetball courts, dance studios and offices. The Kinesiology Department and the Healthy Titans Program are also located within the building.

Polk Library

Polk Library

Polk Library is open to all faculty, staff and students to check out materials by using their Titan ID card. The library offers many features, such as a learning lab, the Archives and Area Research Center and Testing Services.
